Description

The goose is a large waterfowl closely related to ducks and swans.  The largest geese can weigh more than 10 pounds and have a wingspan of up to 6 feet.  They feed primarily on plants but also eat insects.  Geese commonly live 20 years or more.

They are to be found worldwide.
