Description
The dromedary is also called the Arabian camel with one hump on its back. The camels distinctive features include its long curved neck and narrow chest with a single hump. The Bactrian camel and wild Bactrian camel have two humps. Their coat is generally a shade of brown. The hump can be 20 cm tall or more. This camel feeds on foliage and desert vegetation.
They are mainly found in northern Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
