Description
Bear cubs are born helpless, they cant see or hear and are as small as a kitten, only weighing around 1 pound or less. Being a cub is not all fun and games, they have to follow their mums to learn how to hunt and find food. Cubs usually stay with their mothers until they are bewtween one and half and two years old.
In North America the bears primarily reside in Alaska and Canada. Europe also has a number of small populations of brown bears. In Asia these bears range throughout much of Russia, and into parts of China, North Korea, Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan.
