Description

The Guinea Pig is a domesticated species of the rodent family and makes a great pet if handled correctly in early life, they are happy to be picked up and carried and rarely scratch or bite.  They vary in weight from 500 to 1,500 grams  and measure between 20 to 40 cm in length.   The guineas pigs natural diet is grass.

They can be found worldwide as pets.
